The Shallowest Sympathies for Your Loss

It's not always easy to find the right thing to say to someone who has just lost a loved one, but we should all be able to fairly easily avoid the colossally wrong things to say.

In the latest from the McSweeney's feature entitled Open Letters to People Who Are Unlikely to Respond, a woman addresses her correspondence to a co-worker who showed remarkable insensitivity in attempting to offer her condolences regarding the death of a parent.
