I don't think Herman Cain was hoping for an endorsement from Rev. Sharpton anyway. I am sure that he would feel a sense of satisfaction if Cain and Obama ended up as the two candidates (not that I think that will happen).
It's amazing (and a positive sign) that Cain's race is barely being discussed at all. I suppose having an African American president will have that impact.
